I was one of the winners in Deep-Sea News' random draw contest for donating to their DonorsChoose campaign. Though I received this awesome cephalopod t-shirt from the Monterey Bay Aquarium as the prize, it was my honor to help support class projects involving the marine realm. Coming from landlocked Iowa, I understand the importance that having these kinds of opportunities can have both as a teacher and as a student. Thanks Deep Sea News, not for the t-shirt but for supporting marine education in the United States!
