YES WE CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!

This will be getting a lot of play while I count bacterial colonies today!! (hat tip to Marky Mark)

Can I just say w00t1!!!!!!!11!!!11!!!!!11

OMFG

Seriously though, did anyone else get watery-eyed during PRESIDENT-ELECT Obama's acceptance speech? I nearly balled out with tears of joy. Linda and I had to run outside in the run the yell out a big w00t!!! so we didn't wake the kids. I have never been this proud to be an american. I feel a new train a comin'. Its a new dawn. I can once again be proud for my country this moment. THIS IS FRIKKIN LANDSLIDE!! In case you didn't notice.

I can't wait to see North Carolina, Indiana and Montana filled in blue after its all said and done. It'll look even more purdy then.

  1. I know all the sea jellies and the coral are celebrating, too. Now we can work on some protection for the seas with a president who appreciates the environment.

It's only a start, electing Obama, but a great one.

  2. Have you seen this letter from Nader to Obama?

  3. Also, your comments made me think under the shower. I've brought the sorting job home with me and I've found a really old radio somewhere (Made in Poland). I've been listening to the radio all day while working and things really start repeating itself (especially the news) after about two hours. Made me so nuts that I changed to a Russian (yes, I get Russian channels on this baby!) station. If I haven't heard it before, it's new to me. :)

  4. Of course I cried. I cried during McCain's concession and during Obama's acceptance speeches. I cried the next morning. I cried again today reading an excerpt of the letter that Nelson Mandela sent to Obama.
    Really. Yes we can!
